Richard originally trained as a school teacher and taught PE and religious studies for a number of years before moving to work full time for his church in London.
Since 2004 he has been director of the Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship, an organisation which helps to give students the opportunity to both hear, and to understand more of the good news of Jesus. He is a frequent guest speaker in churches and in universities in the UK and abroad.
In his spare time, Richard enjoys watching movies, going to rugby matches and spending time with his wife, Ruth and their five children.
